We are proud to have our school section opened under the roof of BrotherBeats Studios, by Peter Abbott in the legend city of Liverpool! Modular Moon | Modular Synthesis School is a unique program, introducing a novice to the world of Eurorack and sound synthesis logic of any synthesiser out there.
We are happy to be here and offer you a series of classes, known as Cycles, accordingly to the original program created in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. For the first round of classes we planned a month of complete program in November 2023 and February 2024. Below you can find details about classes (cycles) realisation, schedule, sign in process, fee and representatives details.
PLANNING 23/24
Classes in Liverpool, traditionally called as a Cycle, will start with a month of training in November, 2023. Every week, 3 days, 3 hours each class. Main curator of first cycle is Anna Martinova (Tulpa Dusha), second cycle will be curated by Brian Fasano. Second cycle will be realised in February 2024. SCHEDULE
Here you can see detailed program, for the Cycle 1 Liverpool. Starting on 31 October 2023, three days a week, 3 hours per class. Every student will get a copy of Modular Sound Synthesis On the Moon, the book as a part of classes. During classes there will be synthesis systems provided to practice. Snacks and drinks provided.
Cycle 2 classes in February will follow similar schedule. Exact dates will be announced closer to the time of the cycle.

To sign in to the program, one must contact via webpage of BrotherbeatsStudios or email to info@modularmoon.com. Full sum for the entire program is £ 2000. We prepared a payment plan for our students, to make the learning process economically stressless. Payment is submitted to Modular Moon bank account or Paypal. There is 7 seats per cycle available. STE3 3: EXPLORE AND REQUEST PAYMENT PLAN IF ITS NECESSARY. ALTERNATIVELY YOU CAN SUBMIT THE REST SUM A MONTH BEFORE CLASSES START OR FULL SUM AT ONCE.
STEP 4: WELCOME TO MODULAR MOON! YOU WILL RECEIVE TIMINGS OF CLASSES PER EMAIL. PLEASE BE 20 MINUTES EARLIER THE CLASS START.
REPRESENTATIVES
Modular Moon is founded by Anna Martinova (Tulpa Dusha) in 2018, in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Over five years of time the school proved its effectiveness in bringing a novice to synthesis expert level and founded locations in other counties all over the world - Mexico, Chile, Japan, India, Russia. And now also Liverpool UK! :) For the first cycle of classes in Liverpool, Anna will exclusively come over to Liverpool for a month to teach first students cycle in UK.
Second Cycle of classes will be led by Brian Fasano, a teacher from section Amsterdam. Brian, an Italian acoustic engineer based in Amsterdam, is a passionate advocate of electronic music and an expert in modular synthesis. With a strong background in sound design and a deep understanding of the techno genre, he excels as both a DJ and a record collector. Brian's understanding of complex modular systems and his ability to create unique sounds set him apart as an instructor. He is dedicated to pushing the boundaries of sound manipulation and sharing his knowledge with others.
Third cycle of classes will be given by Peter Abbot, the head of BrotherbeatsStudios. From there we want to have 3 cycles per year, 3 months of classes each. Additionally, extra teachers and professionals will be invited to Modular Moon Liverpool to enrich the original program. We are looking forward to meet you!
